Why Marine Collagen over other Animal Collagen?
Other animal collagen is typically made from beef and/or pork skin; in these cases it is very hard to remove calcium and fatty ingredients. However, Marine Collagen does not contain these components, making it a much purer, more beneficial and easily absorbed supplement. This also means that people on a diet or people who have high blood pressure have no problem in consuming the supplement. 

What is Type II Collagen?
Collagen refers to natural protein that can be found in various parts of the body, including the skin and bones. The differences between the collagen types are generally based on their unique chemical compositions. Type II collagen is prominently found in cartilage and also in the vitreous humor. This type of collagen is used for the treatment of several conditions, including arthritis, cellulite, muscles, tendons, skin, hair and nails.

Tests have shown that type II collagen contains a substance known as chondroitin sulfate. I thought this may interest you as is concerns your product marine collagen. I was diagnosed 2 years ago with osteoporsis in my right hip and osteopaenic in my left hip and spine. I started taking marine collagen at first from a supplier in Australia and then I changed to your product as it was more economical being a pensioner this was important and I have been using it every day taking 6 tablets. I have just had a bone density scan and my bone density in the right hip has increased by 7-1/2% and is no longer osteoporsis, The other hip and spine have improved by 3%. My doctor was amazed and googled the tests done with this product which stated the results were positive in increasing bone density it also stated it works better with exercise as well which I have been doing.
